Ive moved to Shyrin's place on Sunday since Anggun is caught up with her sister's wedding. Eventho Shyrin has been bz at work, she has been a gd company. Arif is always with me wen she has to go to sch or work. It has been great so far in Bandung. Ive yet to do much in Bandung since i was more prepared to go to Jogja with Arif n Shyrin.

On Tues at 8pm, we left bandung to Jogjakarta via the domestic train, Lodaya. We got the executive cabin and it cost us rp 160,000 each (approximately sgd 22). The train ride was smooth but it was a vry long ride to Jogja. It took us ard 8hrs. We arrived Jogja at the wee hr at 4am.

We wanted to catch the sunrise but was too late since sunrise was ard that time. Hence we proceeded to the guesthouse. Arif's grandaunt owns a guesthouse so we stayed at Supraban Guest House. It has only 2 rooms. Hence arif has his own room and shyrin and i in the other room. it has clean toilet and clean bedroom so we didnt bother recce for other hotel. the rent is cheap too. juz rp100000 pernyte. Thats about sgd 15 per nyte.

As for now its impossible for me to upload any pix. Will update again wen i come back to Bandung over the wkends... daaaaaa

the start of BANDUNG...........

Left Arvi's plc at 8am to fetch Kevin at his place. By 10am we were already on the road to Bandung. Arvi and Kevin followed me to Bandung since Arvi has a meeting with Anggi with regards to Anggi's wedding. I stayed with em for a nyte and will proceed to Shyrin's place later since i'll be heading to Jogja with Shyrin and Arif. Pics of em will be up soon. Otw to Bandung didnt manage to snap much pix of the scenery coz we're travelling on the highway.

As we arrive Bandung we went to the electronics building. i wanted to get my camera filter and since we're already there i purchased my internet mobile credit. now im able to be online on the move using my mobile.

Did our prayers at Anggi's place den went off to Lisung to have our lunch. Scenery from there is superb! Wish there is such cafe in Singapore; oh well wishful thinking.

After lunch, Kevin still wanted to have desert and he craved for Es Duren (ice durian). Everyone had different desserts.

*this is mine but i happen to juz eat 3 and the rest eaten by kevin.

At night Anggi brought us to Rumah Kebun for dinner and introduced me to her future husband.

Salam Eidul Adha

Last August was my first time fasting in Bandung with bro. Today is my very first time celebrating Eidul Adha away from my family members. As most of u know that mama is away doing her pilgrimage at Mecca for the whole month, I'm here just to release all the unwanted stresses and do what i enjoy most; taking pictures. Coz pictures speak a thousand words.

The eidul adha prayers started at 7am sharp. Myself, arvi and her sister went to the nearby mussollah to do our prayers.

After our prayers were done, we went back and had our breakfast and got ready to head to Kevin's house. Before we arrive at Kevin's abode, i requested that i view the 'korban' rituals here.

I was greeted with pleasant smiles from Kevin's family and relatives. As i entered the house i realise i was kinda 'overdressed' coz everyone else were wearing their normal clothing but me on the other hand was wearing my normal baju kurung.

After kevin's house we proceeded for Arvi's fitting and then proceeded to kevin's grandma's place. On our way to his gram's plc we met with an accident but luckily nothing serious. We were hit at the back of the car. Only the tyre casing broke. the guy who hit us from the back is gonna pay for the repair.

At Kevin gram's plc, we ate again. So thats already the 3rd hse with loads of food spread on the table for us. not much photos taken here tho. enjoy. :)

Let me introduce to my beloved friends who hav been so kind and been spending their free time with me.

this is agam. he was the one who fetched me from the airport on wednesday. and he was kind enuf to fetch me frm arvi's hse yesterday and go to senayan city with me.

this is arvita. im currently staying at her abode. she has been a gd host. i was given the guest room dwnstairs. a vry big house indeed. ive been treated like a VIP since i reach her place last wed. thanks dear for welcoming me.

this is kevin. he has been driving me and arvi home for the past days ive been here. he is arvi's bf. a vry nice fella. got to know him wen he came dwn with arvi to singapore few months back.

this is ricko (left). he is a friend of agam. i knew him thru facebook coz he added me thru his frn's frnlist. he accompanied agam to fetch me on wednesday and joined all of us for dinner yesterday.

DAY 1 - Jakarta

my journey has begun. i arrived Jakarta at 1935hrs (Jakarta timing). plane was slightly delayed to some problems created by the previous passengers. but nevertheless the journey was fine.

i realised i was asleep way b4 the plane took off. so i didnt had any motion sickness along the way. flight was approximately 1.5hrs. Agam and ricko fetched me at the airport since arvi finished work slightly later den her usual knock off time. we proceeded to grand indonesia thereafter to meetup with arvi and kevin and had our dinner there. by then it was close to 2200hrs. proceeded back to arvi's plc and home sweet home at arvi's abode.
todae i was awaken by a knock on the door. arvi was leaving for work and she wanted to introduce me to her dad. my was still zombified when i opened the door. she left for work n i continued sleeping. woke up close to 11am and felt so fresh. wash up and cleaned the room coz my bag was all over the plc and then someone came knocking on my door. it was arvi's aunt. she made me hot tea and told me that lunch is ready. so i skipped breakfast and proceeded to have lunch.

agam is fetching me around 3pm to proceed to senayan city coz i realise i didnt bring any girlie shoe since tmr is eidul adha and i'll be wearing baju kurung. i cant possibly wear baju kurung with my nike ninja shoes ryte..kahkaha...
